Northumberland Holiday and Short Breaks Guide – Reader Research 2015

hg2015The results of our annual research into the users of our Northumberland Holiday and Short Breaks Guide 2015 are now available.

The visitors we surveyed told us that their average spend when they were here was £711.98, giving a possible total spend for all visitors using the guide of £11.2 million. This year, research has shown that 90% of readers of the 2015 Holiday Guide found the guide influential or extremely influtential in their decision to visit Northumberland, and 22% booked a holiday in Northumberland after reading the Guide.

Days Out and Attractions Leaflet Research 2015

The Northumberland Days Out and Attractions leaflet is the county’s only county-wide post arrival information leaflet. In 2015 250,000 of theFinal-Front-Coverse leaflets were produced and distributed to a range of outlets within a 3 hour drive time of the county.

The research we conducted about the users of the Leaflet yielded some very positive and encouraging results.
