VisitEngland launches new edition of The Pink Book


VisitEngland has today launched the latest version of The Pink Book, a guide designed to give English accommodation providers an overview of their legal obligations.

Attraction operators will also find legislation applicable to their business, such as regulations on hiring staff and health and safety.

Tourism plays a vital role as Northumberland’s second largest industry, employing over 11,500 people and having an economic impact of £816 million. It is crucial that we at Northumberland Tourism and you, our partners, work together to continuously develop our tourism offer and further raise our profile nationally and internationally.

The day featured combination of presentations and interactive workshops including an update on Northumberland’s Destination Management Plan, guest speaker Colin Bell from the North East LEP, our marketing plans for 2017-18 and Ark segmentation.
